In 2015, Ride Free Org was established with a mission to create a safer Kensington community by addressing gun violence through creative outlets, mentorship, and paid trade education. Dedicated to providing a transformative space where individuals affected by gun violence can heal, find empowerment, and discover opportunities for professional/personal growth.

Ride Free Org offers a safe and inclusive environment for community members, particularly at-risk youth, to explore their creative potential. Offering free studio sessions supported by an in-house engineer, vinyl lessons guided by an experienced clothes designer, and job assistance with our in-house job developer. Through the process, participants are connected with mentors who have been affected by gun violence, offering valuable guidance to develop essential life skills and envision a future beyond violence.
